Read, see, and watch CODEPINK actions to stop the US occupation of Iraq, from the halls of Congress to the streets of cities around the world!
Thank you Gael for you're efforts to de-escalate the situation. It's difficult to keep cool in such situations, but I think critical for the public to see Codepink members taking the higher ground by not physically or emotionally engaging abusive pro-war hecklers. It is a strategy that was very effective in the 1960 sit-in movement when sit-in protesters actively took physical and verbal abuse, but garnered emotional support from the larger public because of their respectful, nonviolent response.
....and on this day, you all got much less than you deserved.HB2DF,-D.
