Pink Police Holds Media Complicit in Bush's War Crimes at Opening of Press Museum in DC

On Friday April 11th, CODEPINK performed street theatre at the grand opening of the Newseum. This museum is intended to show the history of American media, and to be an example of the importance of the First Amedment protections for free press and free speech.

Indeed, we showed the numerous tourists what free speech looks like.

Ya Know,

I dont know why y'all call this Bush's War when President Clinton signed into law The Iraq Liberation Act 1998

Calling for "Regime Change" in Iraq, in 1998!

Bush just enforced the law that was already on the books.

Mario,

You bring up a good point. In fact, Clinton's bombing of Baghdad in 1998 was based on the same lie of WMDs that did not exist. Clinton bombed innocent people in order to take the media's attention away from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

They should BOTH be held accountable for their actions.
