Hey, Midge!! It is great to have the in-house video specialist back on duty. Super Job!! (You can see that Sam and others worked extra hard to be creative while you were away). I have other good news for you, too, that I will share with you tomorrow. Keep on rockin.

Midge, can you post video of yourself. I need a good laugh today!

Anonymous said...

You people are such a JOKE!

Eileen Coles said...

Laugh while you can, monkey boy. :)

It's a quote from a movie called Bucakroo Banzai, but hey, thanks for frothing at the mouth for us. It's always entertaining when you do that.

Anonymous said...

Well, when I was growing up, white kids would call black kids monkeys so I associate that with racism.

Anonymous said...

I don't see ANY people of color in Code Pink or in any of the photos on the website. Why is that? Is it because you think we are all, to use your words, "monkeys?"

Anonymous said...

It's called Code Pink because it's founders are ALL PINK, inside and outside.

And rich too.

Anonymous said...

Q: What do Midge and Raggety Ann have in common?

A: Cotton tits.

LMFAO

I don't see ANY people of color in Code Pink or in any of the photos on the website. Why is that?

Because you have your head up your ass, perhaps. We don't much pay attention to suntans around here, but there are a few folks with better ones than ours. Why don't you ask Rev. Lennox Yearwood how racist he thinks Code Pink is? How about Eli Painted Crow?

You tards make me laugh. You yell about Medea establishing friendly relationships with people from third world countries and in the same breath you try to infer that we only hang out with white people. What desperate, pathetic ass clownery.

Seriously, anonymous coward, get your cluetard ass into Busboys and Poets and ask the staff there how racist they think Code Pink is. Do it, come on, you know you want to. Unless of course you're afraid of the neighborhood? ;-7

I think it is legitimate to note that any diversity that CP claims it has is not reflected in the photos of its members that it uses. Sure, you have one photo of someone of color on the Darfur section, but that is it. You name people of color, but why not post their pictures. You are the one who injected race into this discussion by using a racial slur. You can't call someone who happens to be black a "monkey" casually!

Anonymous said...

Take a look around your own website and you will see all the people in the photos are almost exclusively white. There are no people of color in any of your vids except the one of Rev Yearwood getting arrested.

Anonymous said...

coles, Castro's Cuba is very racist. Castro's white, all the rulers are white there, Code Pink is all white in it's leadership.

Come to think of it, I've never seen any person of color stay at the DC Actvist House, not one. Have you?

And as far as Cuba, google "tourism aparthied" If you're dark skinned in Havana, you can't get a job working with tourists.

Anonymous said...

coles, it's pathetic that you try to dismiss hard core communist beliefs of your leaders as simply "relationships with people in third world countries".

Guess Jeffery Dahmer just had an eating disorder.

Anonymous said...

But then again, that's the history of the left. Your side defended Pol Pot, said it was American lies, he was just moving people to the country side becuase "that's where the food is".

Your side uses terms like "conscience" "peace" and "justice" when you stand for the opposite.

Does the bread you eat taste better knowing you stole it from a starving homeless person?

Eileen Coles said...

I didn't steal the food I ate while at the Code Pink house from a homeless person. I bought it at the supermarket. You're as wrong about that as you are about everything else. Stick with what you're good at: being wrong. You're incapable of learning.

Well, what parts do you disagree with?
(1) Is that that you disagree that Code Pink members Medea Benjamin and Jodi Evans went to Venezuela to give its dictator thug Hugo Chavez a hug?

(2) Do you disagree that Cindy Sheehan was quoted as saying that she would rather live under Hugo Chavez than Pres. Bush?

(3) Do you disagree that Hugo Chavez has shut down all media opposition in his country and seized their assets? Do you disagree that Venezuela is suspending due process rights? Do you disagree that Chavez has packed his Supreme Court by increasing its size to such an extent that the rule of law is rendered meaningless?

Yet, this is the kind of leader that Medea Benjamin of Jodi Evans of Code Pink hug, praise and pose for pictures with.

(4) Do you disagree that Medea Benjamin of Code Pink lived in Cuba and was quoted as saying she thought she died and went to heaven when she was there? Do you disagree that she wrote books praising the Cuban communist revolution?

(5) Do you disagree that Cuba under Castro has a dismal human rights record which includes the execution of about 12,000 at a low number to 73,000 at a high number for political reasons?

(6) Do you disagree that the media in Cuba is state owned so freedom of expression almost does not exist?

(7) Do you disagree that Code Pink is a member of the United for Peace and Justice coalition which is led by Judith LeBlanc and Leslie Cagen? Do you disagree that LeBlanc and Cagen are communists?

(8) Do you disagree that our constitution could not co-exist with a communist government of the type espoused by LeBlanc and Cagen?

(9) Do you disagree that you or others from Code Pink have marched with United for Justice and Peace or worked with them? Do you disagree that Code Pink has marched with or aided International ANSWER?

(10) Do you disagree that International ANSWER is a front for the socialist Worker's of the World Party (WWP)? Do you disagree that the WWP supported Soviet invasions of Hungary and Prague and that the WWP supported China's 1989 violent crackdown on student democracy demonstrators?

(11) Do you disagree that the WWP's leader Brian Becker is a socialist? Do you disagree that he visited North Korea, praised its repressive communist leader Kim Jung Il and blamed the US for its famine?

(12) Do you disagree that the WWP is Anti-Semitic? Do you disagree that there is Anti-Semitic literature, rhetoric and images present at ANSWER protests? Do you disagree that there is communist literature, rhetoric and images present at protests?

(13) Do you tend to agree that you should be very careful who you associate yourself with because sometimes the people you associate yourself with can reflect poorly on you?

Eileen, I am sure you are well intended, but I don't think you have considered the ethics of standing for what you claim to stand for and what you claim you don't and reconcile that with who you stand with. I feel bad for you because you are not ill intended, just ignorant!

Eileen Coles said...

Let me repeat it in small words this time, anonymous cluetard:

I. Don't. Care.

I want my country back. Code Pink isn't about communism. It's about restoring the Constitution. I am on board with that.

If you want to be taken seriously, you can start by answering MY questions - and providing your real name.

Are you ok with the CIA torturing people? Are you ok with paying our government six times what an enlisted military member makes so they can hire private mercenaries to engage in illegal activities which break treaties and international law? Are you ok with secret goon squads murdering US military personnel in Baghram and Minot because they knew too much about the corruption and the dirty black market deals? Are you ok with having your phone tapped and your email read by strangers? You won't even sign your real name, but you're ok with that? Are you ok with the Bush "goon squad" version of democracy being forced on a sovereign nation at gunpoint? Are you ok with starting a war based on lies? Do you SERIOUSLY think you can lecture me about the company I keep when you're ok with the United States of America being run by a gang of organized criminals? Oh PLEASE!

I'll wait for you to get back to me on all that - I'm pretty sure you won't, except with more of your repetitive, obsessive "everybody who doesn't agree with the Bush dictatorial fascist regime is a commie" BS, which is apparently all you have to work with.

Anonymous said...

coles, we know Ellen drops off bread the Firehook bakery donates for the homeless.

That's homeless coles, not the "clueless" at Code Pinko.

Anonymous said...

coles, yeah, living in Cuba, working for Castro's unfree press, that was all about loving the US Constitution....

Castro, Hugo, Evo....

Sheesh....

Anonymous said...

coles, look up the definition of soverign so you'll have at least a clue as to the BS you're repeating mindlessly.

Eileen Coles said...

I know the definition. I also know how to spell it, cluetard.

Here is a story about Code Pink's best friend, Hugo Chavez! Code Pink's Medea Benjamin, Jodi Evans and Cindy Sheehan went down to visit him, posed for pictures with him and heaped praise on him. In fact, Sheehan said she would rather live under Chavez than Bush. CHECK THIS STORY OUT ----

CARACAS, Venezuela: University leaders accused the Venezuelan government on Thursday of provoking violence to justify military occupations of campuses where students are leading protests against President Hugo Chavez.

Gunmen opened fire on students returning from a peaceful march Wednesday in which 80,000 people denounced a constitutional referendum planned for December that would expand Chavez's power. At least eight people were injured, including one by gunfire, officials said.

CODE PINK LOVES CHAVEZ

Eileen Coles said...

We have our own problems right here at home and when I participate with Code Pink it's to fix those, because they're ones I have both a right and a responsibility to fix FIRST.

Anonymous said...

So it does not trouble you that the head of the group you associate with poses for pics and heaps praise on Hugo Chavez? It doesn't trouble you that the leadership of Code Pink and the other two main antiwar groups are communist?

Anonymous said...

Code Pink wants Chavez instead of Bush!

Eileen Coles said...

No. It does not trouble me. Venezuela is not my country. The US is, and we have plenty of our own dirty laundry to do right here at home first.

Anonymous said...

Well, it is pleasing to me that you are proud that the leaders of Code Pink hang out with the dictators! Too bad Hitler isn't alive because Medea and Jodi and Cindy could hug and praise him!

Anonymous said...

coles, what Code Pink's leaders endorse in Hugo's Venezulea is what they plan for this country.

Today Chavez's thugs went after peaceful protesters with guns. That's in addition to water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets.

Eileen Coles said...

I am not "proud" of the assorted histories, fantasies and outright lies you spew here about my friends. Neither pride nor shame are in play with regard to your obsessive attempts to somehow imply communism is somewhere in the picture and to focus on third world governments when the MAIN problem is our OWN government.

I. Don't. Care. Did you get it that time?

What I care about is the restoration of our system of checks and balances, the re-establishment of the rule of law, respect for the Constitution and a return to the ideals of the founding fathers of our DEMOCRACY. In that, I am united in my efforts with the rest of Code Pink, and there is nothing you can do about it, anonymous thrall. All your repetitive screeching about communism and issues in other countries will not ever change the simple fact that Code Pink is giving Washington DC a serious reality check every day.

If it wasn't working you wouldn't be here screeching. Go ahead, do some more cut-and-paste ranting, it lets us know what we're doing works. You're the ones squealing like pigs right here in this blog.

The funniest part is when you call us the loons and then you act just like us right here in the blog. Do you even SEE what hypocrites you are? At least when we get loud and wacky and repetitive, we know we're doing it on purpose!

Anonymous said...

Oh I understand now coles, you hate America that much that nothing will stand in your way, not even the traitors you are supporting.

Anonymous said...

When you march with Code Pink, you are marching with people who provide domestic support for terrorists. You are marching with people who do not support the troops. You are marching with people who do not respect rights or the laws. You are marching with people who accomplish nothing other than convincing their minions to break the law and get arrested.

When you march with Code Pink, you are marching with a group that has serious connections to the Communist Party USA. When you march with Code Pink, you are marching with people who say our troops died for a lie. When you march with Code Pink you are marching with people who have given money to terrorists. When you march with Code Pink you march with people who support the dictator Hugo Chavez and would wish we had a Venezuelan style dictatorship here. When you march with Code Pink you are marching with people who feign outrage and who are phony. They claim to have hunger strikes, but none have died of hunger because it is only a hunger strike in name for the cameras. Their outrage is canned for the cameras. Code Pink is a shallow group. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! DON'T BUY MEDEA'S BULLSHIT!

Anonymous said...

Code Pink's puppet at UFPJ (Leslie Cagan) has the ties to the Communist Party USA.

Now these peace groups can't keep the peace among themselves. So Leslie Cagan split from the Communist Party USA and formed Committees of Correspondence For Socialism and Democracy.

It was basically a power struggle between personalities. Don't forget, Trotsky fled to Mexico and the other communists tracked him down and gunned him down with submachine guns, a/k/a assault weapons..

Anonymous said...

Uh coles, the Arabs take a dim view of gays. Perhaps you haven't heard.

And the Commies, as non-believers in any God at all, the Arabs take a dim view of them too.

Hope that helps.

Anonymous said...

BTW, you have yet to explain how Medea's writings, her working for Castro, her support of Chavez, the indoctrination trips (oh excuse me, "exchanges") and such are not evidence that she's a communist.

I'm asking for evidence, not a flat out denial without evidence.

Eileen Coles said...

You're pretty stupid, anonymous cluetard. I am not Medea. I don't speak for Medea, and I don't give a rat's ass what Medea does when it comes to Chavez and Castro because Code Pink isn't about that.

Code Pink was started to stop the war in Iraq, prevent war with Iran, and restore our civil liberties, checks and balances and the rule of law at home. Period final.

Your obsession with communism is entirely your problem. Talk to Medea directly if you want answers. Unlike a lot of our government officials, Medea isn't afraid to talk to anyone about her views and she is very accessible to people who want to ask her questions. You're asking the wrong person. I'm a Code Pink member, and as I've said multiple times already, support of communism is not why I'm a member.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, Code Pink isn't about Chavez, but Code Pink took Cindy Sheehan to hob the knob with Hugo, and to Cuba where Code Pink turned their backs on the Women in White who do take real risks, get beat up and threatened for seeking not even a serious redress of grievences from the Cuban government, but simply information on their loved ones who have "disappeared".

And Code Pink isn't about communism, especially two years ago when they were hawking a fun New Years Day in Cuba (communist), EZLN held Chiapas (communist) or Venezuela (communist).

And while in Havana, they would take you to meet the Committe For The Defense of the Revolution who watches Cuban citizens at home, work and in public and reports their every move to Castro's secret police. Think Patriot Act on steroids, lots of steroids.

Yeah, right, now that you've convinced me, we'll fix that.

Eileen Coles said...

Oh so you have issues with the Patriot Act? So does Code Pink - right here at home.

But you're so busy harping on your communism obsession that you kinda missed that, I guess.

It's a bit difficult to reconcile the rest of your propaganda/lies with that agenda. Why would Code Pink support a Patriot Act elsewhere but fight it here at home? Your story doesn't hold water.

I'll believe Code Pink has anything to do with communism when I actually see it.

Anonymous said...

coles, go to their website and download the itinery for the "New Years Day in Havana trip.

It says right in there that one of the groups you can meet is the local Committee For The Defense of the Revolution.

Here's a pro-Castro/Cuba site's definition at http://www.galenfrysinger.com/the_revolution_in_cuba.htm

"Every dwelling block has a "Committee for the Defense of the Revolution" to monitor for the support of revolutionary principles."

I'd love to hear Medea's side of the story about what she wrote (a copy of it might be nice) while working for Castro's Government run newspaper that got her deported from Cuba. Mitchell/Midge is the one who claims she was jailed and deported. You might start there with an inquiry.

Also ask Rae about the party they held New Year's Eve at Medea's when they didn't go after all. The theme was "Revolutionary Party" where you dressed as your favorite revolutionary. HINT: Nobody came dressed as George Washington or Patrick Henry.

This isn't posted to bust your chops. You said you'd want to see it for yourself, so here's a few points for your consideration.
