Depict Waterboarding outisde Dirkesn Senate Bldg

Monday 11.05.07 a rainy morning in DC

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W20iR7bBEs

Today Michael Mukasey will be confirmed as Attorney General!

Next Gonzo!!SHAMEFUL!!!!!

CODEPINK and supporters feel so outraged to have rep's who do not stand for our
values of justice, fairness, bill of rights, constitution and so easily confirmed
another BUSH PUPPET .................. so Jes,
Ellen,Dick,Stephen,Marietta,Liz,Clark,Danielle
went to Dirsken Senate Office Building at 830am
to exhibit the harsh military interrogation practices of TORTURE--- WATERBOARDING
(which Arizona has a part in these trainings and teachings and outsources to CACI)
during the morning rush hour outside the Dirken Senate Office Building.
We take this time to participate through educating our
representatives and the public on the UNamerican like practices through
policy of the failed Bush Regime. The practice of waterboarding is en vogue at the
moment (no matter what Condi or Bush say WE TORTURE WE WATERBOARD FOLKS)
and we feel it our moral obligation to bring unjust practices to the attention of
every citizen! We all have the power to make change through our voice, our
actions, our dollars everyday, our vote, our passionate resistance and lack of
acceptance for bad policy! This was our opportunity to show a horrible act against
humanity and promote awareness through informational fliers & action!

We had a script each person had a specific role to make
the exercise in extreme interrogation seem realistic. The media was ready to get the show on........
Everything was on schedule until the Capitol police started harassing me.Officer Timothy
O'connor asked me if i had stay away order that was in effect to keep me away from the
Capitol grounds.Timothy O'Connor then
went into the Dirksen for 2 minutes and came out with 3 officers - Sweet Tara Neeld started ordering me inside the building to do a quick check of my I.D. by myself. She said it will be quick it is for my protection the same ole junk they always spew out
The Police try to get you alone and isolated feeling vulnerable...this time lucky me the media was all over the harassment. The various media outlets were able to film this harassment for all the world to watch because it will be uploaded friends. After 15 minutes we were back in action the police confirmed i don't have any restrictions on the Senate side deemed arrestable NOW the show begins~
Waterboarding reconvenes
Great Job TEAM!!
THANKS to all participants for exposing what is really going on and how our military is being MIS_used
my question is how will these soldiers ever forgive themselves for these crimes against HUMANITY??
Forgiveness is the hardest part for the conscience
BLIND FAITH IN BAD LEADERSHIP IS UNPATRIOTIC

Who gives A FUCKabout waterboarding when oil hit almost $100 a barrel today.

If I were the police I would really be watching Code Pink because they are probably the ones lighting fires in the bathrooms at the Senate offices. After all what other loons are in the building besides them.

It got killed in your dreams, buttcrack. The vote to send it to committee passed 251-162. By the way have you found your balls yet? :)

Well, you people should focus your attention on that impeachment bill. Get on the stick chicks!

Florida For Peace is working on a plan to use this "waterboarding demo technique" to get meetings with our State representatives.
We need to get their attention, and the public attention and the press attention. Bring a little "sunshine" onto this issue (that's a Florida joke :-D).
Today we showed the CodedPINK torture video in one of Senator Bill Nelson's office. The look on their faces was priceless. When we suggested we would be in the street out front we were all, all of a sudden, on the same page. Then I mentioned we needed another meeting with the senator and soon.
We in Florida have a lot to talk about with our congressional delegates and starting with torture will open some doors. I think young people are especially passionate about this issue, as they are with many social/global justice issues. I believe they will be a great source or support for these actions. They were the biggest part of the Oct27 UFPJ Action in Orlando last weekend. As for the CodePINK actions "wasting time" - we can't be EVERYWHERE, all of the time, but we'll be SOMEWHERE, all of the time. Kucinich did fine without CodePINK today - the vote of Mukasey was today and the timing was perfect. Lydia Vickers

Like your state representatives are really going to want to meet with you! Why don't you perform real acts of civil disobedience and get arrested and go to prison like our sister Eve who is really committed to this struggle!

They don't call her Whiz Hourican for nothing. They promised that poor old homeless deranged hippie dude that Whiz Hourican was going to give him a golden shower.

Anonymous said...

coles, the repubs called your bluff, saw that it went to committee so that you'd get spanked.

Your committee canned it.

Yes, Sister Eve is a true revolutionary, not a pretender from the Vanguard who let the proletariat shoulder the burden.

What a bunch of Chickenhawkskis these Medeas be.

The jury's still out on the fate of HR 333, anonymous coward - but by all means, hold your breath so I can see if you'll turn red or blue first. ;-7

Eileen Coles said...

Hey anonymous coward, I'll bet Liz could help you find your balls. You probably wouldn't like it if she did, though. On the bright side, you'll always be able to remember afterward exactly where they... were. :)

is that what happened to Mitchell Eugene Potts?

Eileen Coles said...

No, Midge prefers to identify as a woman and I respect that. Midge also has the courage to use her real name and has more class than any of you anonymous crackpots. I'll drink a beer with Midge any time. She's far better company than any of you right wing nutters.

Anonymous said...

Oh here we go, plying Midge with beer so you can have your way with him/her.

Anonymous said...

coles, let's have a bet on HR-333. Loser jumps in the Potomac.

Eileen Coles said...

Hey anonymous crackpot, first let's have a bet about li'l ol' married me and Midge doin' some "girls gone wild" after a beer. Loser jumps into the Spuyten Duyvil. Hope you have a helmet.

Anonymous said...

You and Midge doing girls give wild! ROTFL Now that would be a big seller... NOT

Eileen Coles said...

On the other hand, I'm sure a lot of people would pay good money to see you jump into the Spuyten Duyvil, anonymous crackpot.

Yo' coles, you need to renew your Washington Post subscription.

"Kucinich's Broadside At Cheney Is Foiled" by Elizabeth Williamson, page A19.

You lose, loser.

Where they are really stupid is on this whole water boarding thing. First, it has not been done since 2003. Second, it was only used on 3 high value Al Queda individuals who were suspected of being able to provide real time information on terrorist plots. Yet, Code Pink seems to think this is the big issue. If it takes water boarding to prevent another 9/11 I am all for it!

Eileen Coles said...

Hey anonymous, things aren't going quite as badly for HR 799 as you might think.

Now since you're all for waterboarding, go soak your head. :)

Mike's America said...

Reports are that only three terrorists have been waterboarded.

The information they gave up saved THOUSANDS OF LIVES!

Perhaps Code Pink should demonstrate outside the Library Tower building in Los Angeles and tell the inhabitants why they would be better off dead.

Just remember coles, you're never going to impeach Cheney or Bush.

"Reports" from who - Mickey Mouse? Cite your reliable source. Were they under oath in front of Congress? My sources were.

Click here to read the testimony before the House Judiciary Committee of Steven Kleinman, Colonel, USAFR Intelligence & National Security Specialist, Senior Intelligence Officer/Military Interrogator

Aside from having more credible sources, let's address the thought that you THINK that waterboarding "was only used 3 times" and "hasn't been used since 2003" is somehow an excuse to make it a legal procedure, despite the fact that it has been traditionally used by SERE instructors as an example of what totalitarian governments do.

Is a totalitarian government in the United States something you're ok with? Yes or no?

Anonymous said...

As a very young girl, I witnessed first hand what a totalitarian government can really do. Having been raised in Poland during the German occupation, I was a witness to terror and brutality that you could not even imagine. My parents, and a brother, were both murdered by the Nazis.

What really bothers me is that when you use phrases like "war criminal" to describe the secretary of state you demean and debase its meaning.

I saw first hand real war criminals like Jenny Barkmann and Irma Grese on a regular basis. I also caught brief glimpses of Josef Mengele. These names are almost forgotten, but I assure you that they were brutal individuals.

I saw, first hand, the selection of human beings for medical experiments and the gas chambers. During my time at Ravensbruck and Auschwitz, I saw many genuine war criminals and when I see your members use the phrase war criminal to describe leaders here in the US, I just want to reach out and grab you and tell you just what a war criminal really is because I don't think you know. It sounds dramatic, but for some of us, your use of this phrase so lightly is offensive.

Cry us a river! This is a jewish war and maybe if the nazis killed more of you jews we wouldn't be in this war which is being fought for israel!

Eileen Coles said...

My great uncle was a POW who saw the Nazis release dogs on the prisoners for entertainment. This is exactly the same as what happened in Abu Ghraib. It's a war crime.

Blackwater employees have murdered innocent noncombatants in cold blood. This is a war crime that their direct employer, the State Department, has contrived to ensure they cannot be prosecuted for either under US or international law.

The Bush administration are war criminals. Period.

This is also not a war being fought entirely for the benefit of Israel, which has it's own problems with corruption at the top. This war is being fought to benefit the American military industrial complex and the Saudi/Dubai/Kuwait/UAE ISLAMOFASCIST ALLIES OF THE AMERICAN FASCISTS - the ones who really attacked our country on 9/11, and who are financially raping the rest of this country at $100 an oil barrel.

So, Bush is responsible for gas prices now. How do you propose to lower gas prices?
